Or..."What was I thinking" is more like it....

Seriously....WTH IS WRONG WITH ME!?!? WHY'D I MAKE THIS!?!?

I'd just finished watchin' a movie on YouTube...a movie I haven't seen in YEARS, but I have fond memories of from my childhood. And the first thing I do after it's done? I take the movie, and combine it with my obbsession of gijinka-ing everything.

I mean, don't get me wrong....I like how this came out. I spend a lot of time on it. Took me about ten minutes to make the guy's hair alone. I tried to make his hair look all frizzy, 'cuz...he just got struck by lightning. LONG STORY. But yeah, that's why he's covered in burn marks, too. And I TRIED to make his skin look burned, but it was hard to find a color that made it look burned but natural. This was the best I could come up with. And his eyes turned red, too, hence the pink tint I gave his eyes. In the end, just the guy took around an HOUR. And this is the best I could do to make him look fried.

But, STILL.....I dunno WHY I decided to do this. Not everyone likes gijinka. Not everyone likes anime. I've probably ruined a great memory for so many people who watched that movie as kids. Not to mention, I GENDERSWAPPED one of the characters....The girl in this pic? She was a boy in the movie. Yup.

And the guy? One of my first cartoon crushes EVER.
Was crazy about him for YEARS.

BTW, I'm not gonna say the name of the movie, outta embarrassment. But if you know what it is, then you're awesome. It's one of the best movies I ever watched, and I'm not ashamed to say that I still love it after rewatchin' it twelve years later.

I don't own these two characters, but I AM responsible for these gijinka designs.

This movie was amazing, do not be ashamed.

I think everyone sees Toaster as a girl to a certain point. With that singing voice, its hard not too XD

I remember this scene too. Toaster was so worried about lampy, it was cute
